Device name is one thing you can edit, but wake word is another you may wish to change. That's what you call her to get her attention. In my app, those are set choices -- Computer, Echo, Ziggy, Alexa & Amazon. 

 

Just changing the device name won't affect what you call it to get its attention. (Just tested this to make sure this was accurate.)
