Hi Everyone -

So, I just purchased a new candle warmer/tart melter from a company called Candle Warmers Etc. It's a reputable place and has great reviews. The warmer I received is electric with no bulb. It's beautiful and I'd love to purchase another - if I could get my melts to have scent!

Here is the problem: The first day I received my warmer, I put in 2 Scentsy Baked Apple Pie cubes. AMAZING!! The scent filled up my first floor and was yummy. I couldn't wait to burn more!

The next day I melted some Yankee Candle Tarts - nothing - I thought maybe the candle wasn't strong to begin with, so I didn't worry too much. Well, today I burned Yankee Candle's Vineyard in my warmer. Now, I KNOW that one is strong because I've burned it in candle form and as a tart in my tealight burner. In the warmer it smelled like NOTHING. I put 4 cubes in.

Tomorrow I'm going to try another Scentsy one to see if that works.

Two questions:

1. Am I doing something wrong?

2. I know some of you have warmers with light bulbs. Mine is electric with NO BULB. Does that make a difference in the scent throw that I would get?
