Re: My Perfect Little Space!

This does look like a lovely haven.  But, I would need an area rug and window coverings to soften it up so it wouldn't sound like an echo chanber....... and change the wallpaper.

I just love it, wallpaper and all, except for that awful black light fixture, it would need to be changed!  Something glass I think?

I would find a way to make one of the cupboards into a file cabinet, put a laptop on the counter, a printer on the counter or open up a cabinet, or fit a small cute end table on the left side and some books on the shelves.

I'd go in for my morning coffee and tend to the necessary and unnecessary things for the day, enjoying my little space the entire time

I would only share with my cat because I couldn't keep her out anyway!

Just thought it was so inviting!

I think it's really cute just the way it is, I love purple!  I think the black light fixture is supposed to complement the black roller assembly on the door and the black handles.

The only thing I would change is some of the shelf decor.  And the clock needs to come down a shelf or 2 so a person can actually see the time.  It needs to be practical as well as ornamental.

Man plans. God laughs.

Re: My Perfect Little Space!

@caroln242  Yes you're right about the light fixture matching the door trims, but to me it looks like an outdoor porch light.  Black would still work in a different type of fixture.
Isn't it interesting to see how people would make it their own, including improvements like your practical suggestions about the clock.
Purple is one of my favorite colors also!

@goldensrbest - yes, but in my case, my age would dictate it be a Queen!
