More Lenox ornaments...

[ Edited ]

as a TSV tomorrow (9/26) I am assuming...

Why not something else? We already had a Lenox ornament TSV on July 19th...

Although Lenox has some pretty wares, it's not exactly a favorite brand of mine though. Additionally, for any of the Christmas trees we have ever had, the ornaments I had several years ago that I was given as a gift were too heavy to even put on the larger branches at/near the bottom near the floor!

Still can't believe the Q couldn't find another item as a TSV...SMH

I love Lenox ornaments. They make beautiful gifts at an amazing value. Looking forward to another set. :-)

I do like a lot of the Lenox products but I just don't need to even look at anymore ornaments.  Why not have something different for us as I'm sure most people who are wanting to buy ornaments did so two months ago when Lenox had the TSV.  That will curb my viewing for the day as it will take twenty minutes out of every hour long decor show.  Talk about repeating, twice in two months.  Woman Frustrated

Last year I purchased 3 sets of the Lenox TSV ornaments with the clear jewels, and I love them.  My issue with this year's ornaments is that not only have they left out the clear jewel option (those colored jewels look too big and tacky, IMO), but also, the ornaments themselves aren't very attractive in their designs shapes.  Last year the ornaments were more holiday themed.  This year's shapes, aside from the tree, are kind of non-specific in their theme.  In general, to me, they aren't very elegant.

The Lenox TSV in July was not my cup of tea at all, just not a fan of decorating with cute porcelain objects at all. Today's Lenox TSV is much more my style -- I love the shapes -- but I don't like those colored jewels.  They're such a distraction to the overall beauty of the ornament, in my opinion. I pass.

I'm kind of torn with whether or not I like the TSV today.

My mom bought last year's Lenox ornaments, and she gave a couple of them to me (in the clear). I thought they were really nice, and I liked them a lot.

While some of this year's ornaments have great shape, I can't quite like the crystal in these. Especially as a whole set, they are rather overwhelming, unless you have a very large tree and do the much larger ornaments and decorations on it. I suppose just one worked into the other ornaments, as a special gift from someone might be pleasing to me, but the whole set together is just too much.

I mentioned this on the TSV thread but worth a post here.....

For those interested in Lenox, try their home page. Wonderful selection of everything they offer. Sign up for their emails and you'll get extra discounts. They have their own version of EP, too.

58,000 of them have sold.  I don't like the style, but can see how others do.

Last year's Lenox TSV silver-played ornaments were a set of 8 for $36 and change. I purchased them, plus the previous year's set. I love those sets! Today, 5 ornaments for $29 and change is actually a questionable deal.

$4.50 each (last year) versus $5.98 each (this year) -- so I will not compare them to that $100 retail price that keeps getting mentioned today.
