When I saw his home, I felt it reflected him. I wish I could remember the kitchen as it was when I was there - for some reason I'm remembering more pictures and more objects - denser decor than in that picture.

No, it doesn't remind me of Monet, but the colors are pretty to look at.(even though I think I'd get tired of looking at it in my kitchen).

I would never think of Monet when looking at this kitchen.

This actually is his kitchen, though I imagine it has new paint maybe.

I never saw the inside of his house. He liked to use lots of colr, very unusual in his day.
