Each globe is a vintage item that represents each person of the family in the house.

Does the story influence your like/dislike of the mismatched fixture?

I like it and the story makes it even more unique.  What a family treasure.

It has a funky, quirky factor that I like.  The mis-matched, old fashioned globes on the modern fixture create an interesting piece.

That's a wonderful and meaningful back story, one I'm sure the family has shared with visitors often.  I liked it when I first saw it, very unique but they all work well together.  A home should reflect the people that live there and makes them comfortable and happy and who cares what anyone else thinks! @lolakimono thanks for sharing.

It's one of those life choices that only the owner needs to like imo.

I do like every one of those bulbs and once upon a time I had a dining area and a house in which any of them would have been appropriate -  might have used 2 kinds.
