Without the unsightly painting on the wall, the mirrors, and that bed frame I like it.

A Picasso painting called "Nude, Green Leaves and Bust" sold for $106.5 million in 2010, so there must be people who appreciate the style of painting in this pic, which is remotely similar in style to that one and other green Picassos/cubist works. I agree with the poster who said that the mirrors behind the lamps could offer additional light. I don't have any problems with this room.

A lamp in front of a mirror or window defeats the whole purpose. The nightstands are another story.

@Harpa What if one got up in the darkness sick?  Lamps are a safety necessity.

Love most of this room down to every detail.  It goes together perfectly!

I don't decorate this formally.  I grew up in a house where you could barely sit down.

It's a bit too 'busy' for me...........I do believe that the floral bedspread is 'throwing me off' (so to speak).

I'd try a solid, neutral bedspread.   See what happens.......

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
