Hi @faeriemoon 

 

I'm just not seeing it as a desk either.  Upon first glance, I saw it as a gardening table.  But I know that doesn't fit the space either & really wouldn't be practical.  I think it's a mystery.

 

Question:  what is everyone elses' input as to what's the purpose of that table/chair?

It's not my style but the large scale art and light fixtures are.

I would change 2 things....that extremely uncomfortable looking chair and I would only keep that art if it had special meaning to me or was someone I knew personally.

This looks like an entrance to an office building w/the table as the receptionist's desk.  And take down that creepy picture!

Open and airy but it’s too cold for me. Love the picture though

This is not my taste and there isn't any appeal. It need color and warmth.

I would change out the artwork.
