I like everything about this room except the style of furniture. I do like the color combinations and the overall openness of the room.

Oh no, I remember this style of furniture well - even the color.  We had something similar to this (the bright stuff) in our basement when I was growing up...no beautiful windows with a view though. 

Just hearing the term "mid-century" makes me feel like the rickety old tin man from the wizard of oz...badly needing to be oiled.  I feel old & creaky knowing I can personally relate to something "mid-century".  My, how time flies when you are having fun!

The room itself is so spacious and roomy.  I am not a fan of the furniture or decor but would enjoy refurnishing and decorating ! Love the view!

I like the view and the stone wall/archway.  I'd toss everything else in the fireplace, with the flames on high.

Beautiful space and view.  And, while I'd pick my own things, I could live with this room.  I prefer modern to traditional.
