@Carmie    I agree with your method.  I often do a super large wash load of clothing and separate that into 2 dryer loads.  Makes a world of difference.

What I didn't like about the dryer was the length of time it took to dry the clothes. I kept the lint filter and hose clean but over time it just pooped out. The washer was worse. It had a mind of its own. A couple of years ago my daughter went to her local appliance dealer who told her to buy the old fashioned appliances. I had the exact experience with my local appliance dealer. I listened to him. My daughter told me that advice was the best.

Put a few already dried/clean towels in with whatevr you're drying - really helps.
