My cool gel-memory foam mattress is also by Classic Brands, and it's on a PragmaBed platform foundation/frame.  Love the whole setup as well!

@feline groovy  If the dog slept on our bed, there wouldn't be any room for us!  LOL  He does hang out there with me sometimes, though, when I'm watching TV.  The kitty cat does end up with us some nights.

I purchased our Sleep Number bed from QVC and we love it! I also have purchased two aero beds and they are very nice. If you son is not fussy I would consider the aero bed.

This is a two year old purchase, but it is a mattress that has a 10 year warranty (never to be honored). The mattress is dysfunctional and has been from the beginning. Unfortunately, my 83 year old father sleeps on it and he "thought" it had to be this way. We contacted QVC who does not honor any kind of mattress return or warranties. They moved us along to Serta who were very kind but not without their own dysfunction within and "?who does what"?. I was given a Claim number and told a Mattress Inspector would come to the house. Many long weeks into a month or two went by. I called Serta again and was told Mattress Inspectors do not service our area anymore. We were sent a self inspection kit from Mattress Marshals. It is a great annoyance/inconvenience to have to do this project; take pictures and to PROVE your mattress is dysfunctional WHEN you know the end result will be "sorry" the pictures looks like it passes. I wish this could have been a long story short....We will never buy another mattress that does not come with at least a 30 night sleep guarantee. They may be a little pricey but you can not put a cost on comfort and a good night's sleep. We are going to have to buy another mattress anyway. Beware, really. Beware

@ryrick1  What a huge inconvenience and imposition. First of all, I would be very aggravated that some stranger has to come into my private sanctuary, my bedroom, to inspect the mattress. Then after waiting weeks into months, they don’t even come. So it’s not really important to see the mattress, after all. What a shame you’ve gone through all this and still no resolution.
