Need a recommendation for a good mattress.

I think that a ""please"" and/or ""thank-you"" would have worked better to get you at least one reply after 72 views.

I have a Tempurpedic Cloud Luxe and wanted something similar without the price tag for the guest room. Happened upon Christeli mattress, an online site, mattresses made to order in South Carolina. They have sales.
I called them, told them what I was looking for and they made a recommendation. I am very happy with the mattress, it is very comfy, a good purchase. Memory foam, life time warranty.

I'm still trying to find a mattress I like. I want a VERY soft mattress; if it is firm at all......it's not for me. It's really difficult to find a soft mattress. I want the kind you just sink into (but not tempurpedic).

We have the Sealy Hybrid. It is part innerspring and part foam. Most comfy mattress I have ever had!
There are different levels of firmness with "Ability" firm and "Encourage" is what we have and supposedly plush, but kind of soft.
I had ordered a Casper, the latex one that comes in a box and shipped to your home and really great price and quality but way too firm. Then I got a Beautyrest (junk!) Luxury Firm pillowtop and felt good at first and then it started to cave in after about 3 1/2 weeks and they did take it back.
Good luck and take your time. It is not fun at all.

I think this is one of the most difficult items to purchase. Mattresses are expensive, and there's no way to really test them other than getting one in your home and sleeping on it for at least several nights. Reviews don't really help with an item like this that depends so much on personal preference. My only suggestion is to buy from a reputable store that will easily take exchanges or returns.

Hi QVCfan-just wondering how long you've had your Sealy and if it's holding up well. I've had my eye on that line and even tried the Encourage in the store. They feel great in the store. We've had a time with mattresses sagging quickly. I assume good as you recommend, but just curious.

We have a Sleep Number (not purchased from QVC) and it's one of the best purchases we've ever made.

We have had it since November. No sagging at all and sooooo comfy. In the morning I don't want to get up. The cover on it is so soft too, a knit fabric but of course you need to used a mattress pad for protection and I have a quilted type and that feels soft and cozy. I am very touch sensitive to things, clothing, socks etc. and also use bamboo sheets.
There are not many reviews out there and I say try it, purchase from a store that has a "comfort guarantee" which means they charge a restocking fee if you change your mind as this really is difficult. Mine is a bit firmer than the Encourage at the store and that is a good thing as I think it is typical they soften up just a bit and think it may have or I am just used to it now since getting rid of my Posturpedic that got lumpy and bumpy after 8 years but wonderful for the first 7 years.
Good luck and post if you do get and how you like it. Also, rare to find them on sale as Sealy keeps the price the same at all retailers. I did get $200 off but they never do the 50% sale you always see or the free box spring offer.
