Re: Martha Stewart and Bedford Estate

I don't mind green, but this is too much green. Using it solely on the bottom part of the walls would be much better.  I currently have olive green wall paint under the chair railing in my dining room and on an accent wall in my foyer. Her chairs are similar to my dining chairs, but mine have ivory cushions. I'm not really loving the rest of the furnishings. The bird thing on the wall has to go - creepy.

The green is okay. If I had this many rooms, I would go for it.

Kind of surprised to see all the furniture lined up against the walls.

Martha looks great!

Re: Martha Stewart and Bedford Estate

Martha is the best looking thing in this room.  I think it looks tacky and I'm kinda surprised.  The rug looks thin, wrinkly and cheap.  That old grandma sofa up against the wall. The ornate clock, mirrors and animal thing on the wall look like they are out of a who dunnit movie - not to mention all that green - maybe this is a special room in her estate w/misc. antiques that she didn't know what to do with.  Robot Frustrated

@Witchy Woman   I had to laugh at the "bile green" mention.  It is exactly what I was thinking. Three years ago, after open heart surgery, I vomited hundreds and hundreds of units of bile. It was projectile and all over the walls, the nurses, me, the bed, etc.  Needless to say, this color makes me want to puke!  I fear the memory of that will stay in my mind forever.

Sorry, Martha.  I like a lot of your stuff but not this!

@jubilant

Oh, you poor thing!

Cannot imagine being THAT sick.

I suffered with migraines many years and spent more time throwing up than I care to remember.

The green in that room just reads nausea to me Cat LOL

Although I like green, that's not a shade I like.

The green color is not for me and it takes away from the room.  Different color and a redo.

This green reminds me of a hospital surgery room when I was a child.
