I think the art is not so much mariposa as it is ordinary bugs, dragonflies and perhaps a hornet or two.

This has the potential to be a pretty room, but the art, ceiling light and plant have to go. Perhaps if they put the plant in a large 'fishbowl' type holder it might work, but I don't care for the basket in this setting.

Pretty colors but the painting looks like moths to me so that has to go...the ceiling fixture, fringe on sofa, floral chair or stool in the right corner, and cheap basket the plant is in also all have to go.

Then I think I would like it.

I don't like anything about this room.  The furniture looks like it's from the early 60's.

I do like the glimpse of the pink and green (ottoman maybe???), but seriously, this entire room is a no for me with maybe the exception for that piece, whatever it is.
