Re: Marge Simpson Inspired Fixture

I actually like it (don't love it) and the room.  I'd have to swap out the yellow chairs though.

That looks like a Chiluily (sp?) glass chandelier. I like it, but I don’t think it would provide much light while dining. I like the rest of the room, too.

When I saw it I immediately thought the same thing about it looking like a Dale Chihuly. However I have seen a similar style on Wayfair and I doubt he did that one. I wonder if @lolakimono can tell us?

I don't think much light would come from this chandelier ...not very practical but the room comes together nicely.

Yes, that glassblower does, specifically, call this one Chihuly style. There are real ones by Chihuly, too.

The room works even with the alien light fixture.  I'm just not a fan of primary colors in decorating so I don't love the room.

I think I might like the fixture done in a neutral or metallic.

@lolakimono   Not only ugly, but can you just imagine how much dust accumulates in something like that.  Dust in your food--yuck!

Weird, but I like it.   I love color, and the fact this room is not cluttered with a lot of useless decor.

Love the colorful fixtures, art but hate the gray walls.

@lolakimono

Wondering what this was going to be, but you nailed the inspiration.

I like the room minus the chandelier.
