This is a lovely space and, overall, a lovely design... That said, there is an awful lot going on... It seems like the decorator pulled out all the stops, threw it all out there and kept everything that stuck... Still, I like it, other than the ceiliing, which, to me, is just one step too far...

It took me a minute to decide because of all the patterns going on.  But for me it works due to the neutral colors and the huge windows bringing the light and the outdoors in.

When you think about it, a natural outdoor landscape includes so many different textures, sizes, and shapes of greenery.  I also see some calming aspects such as the fireplace, solid colors (desk chairs), candles, and the painting above the mantel.

The more i look at it, the more i like it!  lol

I don't know, seems very busy. Maybe if the walls weren't covered in patterned wallpaper along with all the different patterns in the furniture/drapes. I like the room itself, but something needs to ground it somewhat.

Take away the wallpaper, window coverings, and table cover and I like it a lot.

 I don't know.....too many patterns for my style....Sofa looks very comfy though!!
