Absolutely NOT, especially with that horrible distressed look.

This is a no for me. I do not like the look at all.

Re: Making Small Rooms Look Larger

Obviously there are strong opinions on free standing mirrors.  I don't feel strongly either way, but friend has one and it looks terrific.  I have one in the spare bedroom that young GD uses when she comes. She is a dancer and loves dancing in front of it.  So cute.

It's okay but I find it too big.  Also I don't like losing all that wall space for picture placing.

Here's one I really like that has given me ideas for a place where nothing else seems to be working.

I don't usually care for walls of mirrors or them used as decor.  However, the one pictured is rather unique so I might make an exception.  It would be extremely heavy and take an army of strong men to move.  It does seem to expand the size of the room.

Re: Making Small Rooms Look Larger

I guess it makes the room look larger, but the mirror itself is so huge. IMO mirrors this big belong in huge rooms, but even then it's not a look I particularly like. I don't like leaning mirrors against walls or the distressed wood on this one.

Yes, I do like them.  Not only do they make rooms look larger, they reflect light brightening up the room when placed opposite windows.  I also like how they bring life to a room.

Other than liking the size of the mirror, don't like the frame or neutral colors in this room.

While the mirror itself is very pretty, it is too large.  It isn't for me.

In that room, I like it.
