This is the first time I've posted here although I love the declutter thread. It gets me so motivated...but what finally made me post was a video on YouTube where a lady was talking about a friend whose pipes burst in her basement...and not water, but SEWAGE!  Needless to say, she was completely grossed out but had to start the cleaning process of all that was there. She said, somewhere in the process she had a giant burst of clarity and thought,"do I want this item enough to clean poop off it?..".  So, that's going to be my mantra for decluttering! Would I want to keep this enough to clean poop off it?....  maybe not foe everyone, but pretty clear for me😄😄😄. Thanks, ladies, for this thread...

You can hit "inappropriate' on the post you want to move and in the 'reason ', ask Mods to move it to where you want it to be.

😮EWWWWW!! That poor lady!❤ Not only would that have MOTIVATED me to grab a gas mask, and have it ALL hauled away, I would have done so at WARP speed!🤢 It would seriously have to be a TREASURED  family heirloom, or into the trash PILE it goes without question!!!!!😁

@dodies          we had a cracked pipe that caused the drains to back up sewage and it ruined our whole finished basement      that had to be done by professionals and ruined well over 100 thosand dollars of furniture many electronics and our gym
