This lion is absolutely gorgeous - I can't imagine the carving that went into making this beauty. No, it's not for everyone, but the carving on the spindles and the beauty of the lion is amazing!

@lolakimono  That carving is so ornate it sort of has a Versace vibe to it.  I hope the rest of the house is as grand as the staircase.

Although I'm not a fan of the ornate style & having a lion on the steps, you can definitely tell there's excellent quality & art put into these steps.  The crafts people are very talented.
