too many colors in the couch for me. Maybe it would look better if the couch was in a pretty blue color that coordinated with the photos!

Some people love color and pattern and obviously this space was designed for that type person. 

 

While it would not appeal to me, I find the design to be very good.

I'm surprised this was in House Beautiful.  I used to love that magazine--haven't looked at it in a long time.  I don't like that couch at all.  I don't like the pictures either but can see how some might.

The furniture looks comfy but the patterns are not inviting.  They are telling me "keep off."
