Re: MORE SHEET PRBLEMS.... I think about

Most fitted sheets have a tag on them.  That tag will be placed on the end that goes either at the head or foot of the bed. Your choice depending on pattern on the sheets.

I always fold my fitted sheets by placing the corners inside one another.  They look okay folded.

i normally cheat by taking the sheets as soon as they are dry and putting the same ones back on the bed.  That way my linen closet stays neat looking and I don't have to fool round with fancy folding.

Last spring, I bought zippered storage boxes that exactly fit my closet shelves.  I store my sheets in them together as a set.  My closet stays organized even if I have to dig to find something.  I can remove an item and the whole lot doesn't fall on the floor.

Here's my simple sheet lifestyle: 1 set for each bed...take off bed, wash, dry, put back on bed. So far 52 years of no folding, no storing.

Exactly what we do....saves my frustration for something more deserving than folding the sheets! LOL!! Out of the dryer and onto the bed!

Oh my, how did I get this old and never even thought to look at the stripes!!

Yes I have queen bed striped bottom sheets and still search around for the tag 😆  If I wasn't so embarrassed I would walk upstairs and verify.  Don't tell!

I fold the fitted sheet on the ironing board.  It's a rectangle inside a rectangle.

Re: MORE SHEET PRBLEMS.... I think about

Thank you.  I actually use to fold them not great but not bad.when my wife folds clothes and the big king size fitted sheet she would say in not going nuts to fold a sheet that's hard to fold and she started rolling them so when I fold them I'm like I'm rolling them to.  And pinkdogwood I'm not offended by your comment I'm finding it funny . I'm not saying you were trying to offend me . my wife may not want neat fitted sheets but she does want towels and other things folded neatly.

The easiest way to tackle this issue for so many is to launder the sheets and return them to the bed.

When you want to change colors, freshly launder the set from your storage.Smiley Happy

Re: MORE SHEET PRBLEMS.... I think about

Sheets are so easy to fold for me because all my sheets come straight off the clothesline. <I can hear gasps!>  Woman Very Happy

I always keep the tag at the bottom left, when making the bed.  It's the first thing I look for.  I couldn't stand it if the tag ended up at the head of the bed.

I'm not one for turning (flipping) mattresses from head to toe, either.  I don't think I'd be able to get into the bed!

[ Edited ]

Only have two sets for each bed (winter and summer). When I wash our sheets, they get dried and put right back on. I really don't care what the unused set in my linen closet looks like - my town cut costs by eliminating the linen closet police!

Re: MORE SHEET PRBLEMS.... I think about

I don't have sheet problems but instead I have a very hard time getting my blanket into a duvet cover.

I purchased a duvet cover because I have a nice down blanket but wanted a new color for the bed.  So rather than getting a new blanket or comforter I got a duvet cover to put the blanket into.  It's a big pain trying to get it in!
