I already have the churchill in ivory, no question Luminara will be coming out with more lanterns. The 25" looks unbalanced to me in needing more of a candle presence & the 16" candle looks smushed in & needs to be a bit smaller at certain angles. Again, my eye & perception of what will work best for me. But then again, the closer it gets to the TSV witching hour, I've been known to reorder. The day is still very young.
@BornToShop, I thought the same thing about the 16" one. The candlle looks too chubby for the size of the lantern. I'm still mulling it over, don't know which one or any that I want. I think the 19" is the best looking, overall. I'm sure it will sell out while I'm deciding. Another thing about the 16" one, there doesn't seem to be any space left to add cones or anything we might want to add.
@lucymo Good point on the space. I do plan on adding seasonal items to the lantern so I'd want there to be some space. There is still plenty of time to order and there are advanced orders on them!!!
@BornToShop I think we will love that size.
@MTH & @BornToShop, I did cave & get the 19" in the Red to put on the table on our covered front porch. Our shutters are a shade of burgundy and this looks like it will blend nicely, since it isn't fire engine red. Ok, I did it and now I'd better get to work before I find somewhere to use another one. LOL

I ordered two of the 19" in black. I plan on replacing the candle with a taller size if the glow is not enough due to the resin candle. I have a pair of 9" ivory in the Luminara plus a 9" in both teal and red.
@mallemo, I was concerned about the glow too but in the presentations, it looks pretty good. I just ordered a 19" in red. I didn't think I wanted red but this doesn't seem to be in your face red so I think it will work on our porch. If not, it will make someome a great gift.

Yes, we could but to me, the candle looks too big for the space. Just me I guess but thats why they have different sizes so we have choices. If I wanted to use it on a table inside I'd get the 16" and do what you are thinking about. Thanks, Flicker.

You mighy want to check lucymo. I'm pretty sure I heard that the candles were fixed in the lantern and couldn't be removed.....

I ordered the 25" for my deep front entry way. Thrilled to have something larger! Keeps my entry more to scale. The price points on these are very good, hope they look as nice when they get to our homes!!!

@Susan Louise, I'm loving your moties. Yes, I'm sure we'll all have a lantern (or two) coming soon. I know I'll love it, I have several but this shade of red looks beautiful. I can't use that bright shade but loving this.

@lucymo I really wish the 'powers that be' would bring back the other smiley/emoticons...I really dislike the new ones...too small and they are not fun to use. I went to a 'free' site online and I'm using those.
ITA! The red is a perfect 'country' red. I could not have used a fire engine red either ![]()

Help, ladies... please???
I ordered two of the smaller lanterns (black red) because I thought that only they came with a remote.
And I ordered one large... (red)
Then I heard Pat say that they were all operable with the remote.
Then, when I pulled up the order, it looks like they each come with a remote.
Does anybody know for sure? THX
