Wow, @Iwantcoffee , that is beautiful. I really like that they didn't wallpaper all over-- they have wainscoting below, and then wallpaper. And the painted chest is charming, as well as practical.
Years ago when I was in the building business, a buyer custom picked pink Kohler fixtures for one of their baths. The shade was not as soft as this. They backed out at the last minute after realizing their new neighborhood was near an airport (they were from out of town). Yes, we had to tear out the fixtures and replace them before we could sell the home. Not sure pink is a very popular color, at least wasn't in the 80s!
I HATE a pink bathroom! And wallpaper! The first house we bought that was built in the '50s had a pink bathroom and I couldn't wait to gut it! Would be an immediate deal breaker for me.
Honestly, I don't understand hating a color. People here post they hate blue, hate green, hate pink. For me, hate is too strong of an emotion for something like that.
