Love EVERYTHING about the room!!!  I lived in an apartment before getting married that had floor to celing windows in all the rooms.  It was on the 16th floor with views of buildings, a small park and the lakefront.  Absolutely gorgeous!

That's Norma Jean, I do believe!

I like the room a lot.  All leather furniture would be replaced, however.  Animal lover that I am.

I guess if one could afford the home, they could afford to keep it comfortably warm and cool.

True, mountain or water view would be nicer.

I love it! It's not at all for a family, but for a single or a couple (retired or in a professional job) I think it would be great!

I like it.

The artwork would not be my choice. I think artwork should make a statement and bring the area together - this artwork lacks interest of ant kind and does not add much to this lovely spac.

The stacks of books give it a touch of home.

I could live there, no problem. Clean lines, lots of light and nothing is overdone. This space speaks for itself.

I like the picture of Marilyn Monroe, it's kinda quirky.  She being behind the camera.

And not dressed as usual when she's in front of the camera (still shot or moving picture).

oOOH, just noticed the opened door next to the fireplace.  An outdoor area.  An added bonus!

@faeriemoon, while not my taste, I do like how much light is brought in with all of the windows.  As much as I like all of those windows, I would always feel that people in those other buildings would be looking at me and that I would spend too much time looking at them.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

Re: Love this space...

I think it's the home of a photographer, his/her windows to the world.  He's/ she's all about what he can see.

Add: huge books on the center table. Pictures of ??? in them.

I love all the windows.

I'm not a fan of black furniture, but it's a nice space.

@faeriemoon

I love the space as well .. but in a different location.  Not a fan of wall to wall buildings with no privacy.  I get that it's a common style in larger cities.

The openness is great but as others had mentioned, a more natural view would be nicer.  Before purchasing, I would also consider getting prices for the upkeep of the windows as well as getting the ceilings cobweb & dust free.  I'm thinking the maintenance of these would be quite pricey.
