While I prefer wood, I do like the look of this banister railing it is different and the design appealing!  I think it adds a lot to the surrounding area ,.

Never go wrong with a custom-made wooden staircase. The look is devine and the richness of a quality hardwood lasts forever. Not a fan of metal scrolling, which becomes passe in a few years.

Formal looking but looks good.  Just not for me, I appreciate a more simplistic, casual style.
