Re: Long lasting air freshers

I use nothing scented in my home for the comfort of my dogs.  Scents are very irritating to their keen sense of smell

I'm with you @Imaoldhippie

Tried SO many and none work to my satisfaction!!!

Plug in, battery, the ones that just sit there....

I give up and just burn good quality candles.

@RespectLife

What are some brands of quality candles that you like?

I've given up on Yankee Candle and Bath & Body Works, just not a lot of throw any longer.

@rockygems123

Cheerful Giver (Q or online direct)  always fantastic

Family owned that employees special gifted workers.

Pure Integrity Soy Candles (online....one of the BEST)

Family owned business from the Buffalo, NY area.

And some Slatkin from Q....have had some duds though!

I have had NO luck with any from Aldi's, Great Value, or Goose Creek.  For me, a waste of money with NO throw.

Re: Long lasting air freshers

@rockygems123 ........I stopped using scented candles and other smell good stuff.  I have used essential oils with a defuser but they dont last either but they smell the best to me.

So now all I use is Lysol spray, gets rid of odors and dysinfects.

I have been using the wallflowers from Bath/Body works-----they are really nice. But I also have no pets anymore so not concerned about what they can do to them. Please don't use any scents if there are pets in the home.

[ Edited ]

What about the mists that I see advertised? Has anyone tried them? My daughter uses one, can't remember the brand name and loves it.....

I use tarts and candles, my favorite candles are:

Cheerful Giver

Pure Integrity

Both burn really well- with very very little soot....

Tarts I like are Dessa's Homespun Scents and Melt Downs-both wonderful companies and scents!!!
