It looks great with your comforter.  You will use a lamp much longer than a comforter, though.  For that reason, I wouldn't choose that lamp.  It might not go well with your next comforter.

I agree. I think I am leaning towards the cream lamps. It will go with the pillows and I can then get curtains that color.

I put a small chandelier in my walk in closet - LOVE IT!  Makes me feel "fancy" when I'm looking for my boring work clothes in the morning.  I would definitely install it again (I did it myself), just make sure that it's not too heavy if replacing a standard light fixture or you'll need to purchase special hardware to mount it to one of the beams.

It will be going in a new build. The wiring and stuff will be done to accommodate a ceiling fan if we want one in the future. I will have to go look and see how much it weighs.
