I understand you are looking for unusual (not big box store) lighting for the DR (and the kitchen?) for a water-inspired house.

 

Did I get that right?

 

Without knowing your budget or your preference for metals, how about something like this?

@lolakimono, Thank you for you quick response Lola.Our new home is two stoiry facing lake. I am a traditionist(SP. not thinking clearly, tired) Second floor all fixtures an chand. are bronze. After talking with designers was told brass is now back in style ( Didn,t know it was no longer in style. LOL).However, I am going with bronze for din.& kitchen. LOVE fixture you have displayed. I def feel you should purchase something you really like. Not settle for item that is cheaper. Good thing hus. always tells me to get what I really want.. Not into big box store. Not willing to settle. Is this fixture avail? Really like. Thank you Lola, Prov

@lolakimono, You are the BEST LOLA! Thank you so very much. On my way to check on Wayfair. I said am a traditionist. However, I do like some other ideas also. LOVE water colour paintings. Painting that appear "artist" may have thrown different colours of paint on a large canvas. Appreciate many different ideas. So am a traditionist? Just LOVE many ideas. Many thanks, Prov

@lolakimono, My first visit to Wayfair. Have chosen three fixtures from Wro. Stu. I think I  will most likely choose the first pic. you sent . Going to think a little tonight.
