I always liked muted colors, but during my last reno, I went bold. Although I don't have these exact colors, they're in the same family. Never thought I'd love them, but I do. My kitchen is pumpkin with cream cabinets. My LR/DR has a cream sofa with bold golds and greens. I have chocolate floors, so it all pops.
I'm loving this room. Thanks for sharing.

I am normally not a curtain person, but these make the room.
Happy colors, great furniture. This room makes me smile.

Like it. And this coming from one that would never do a white or cream sofa EVER!!
Like that floral/bowl on the table. Adds texture.
Those small stools have a lot of interest to them, like those too.
I would however make a few changes, like that lamp for one.
And, would of used a tad lighter shade for the drapery rods/rings too.

My youngest daughter’s favorite color is orange. Her house is decorated with orange here and there.
She’d love this! In fact, it reminds me a little ( on a smaller and cheaper scale) of her living room.
She ( luckily) inherited my late husband’s sense of style and decorating. He decorated and designed our entire house! I was the labor. I did the painting, staining of wood, etc. It was the opposite of what usually happens and it worked perfectly for us! Ha!

I must be changing because I never liked orange in home decor but I like this.
I agree that the curtain rods should be lighter.

I love it
The curtain rods remind me of eyeliner, it's bold but necessary, anything else would disappear. You wear eyeliner for definition
I've found that colors I naturally avoid can be loved in the right SHADE. I gravitate toward cool blues & greens, so if I find an ORANGE with a cool undertone, I can live with it. And I love bold. Not bright, but bold. I had to learn a lot about color when I bought my house 15 years ago. There was wallpaper everywhere. It all came down & the entire house was painted. Ourselves
