Re: Life is Like a Box of Chocolates...

I would want a light wall so those lovely nightstands would stand out.

But reality, I don’t do browns anymore. Love my whites and greys.

I am imagining this room with off white walls - what a difference that would make - brighten it up but still keep it warm toned.

Perhaps a rug with a light background and brown design also instead of one that is primarily brown.

Like the two bedside tables, as well as the two longer print pillows!

(someone mentioned the bronze ceiling fan on the white ceiling ... I have bronze ceiling fans on light colored ceilings thru out my house ... matches all the door hardware)

Although it would be too dark for my personal taste, I like the room except for the ceiling fan - use ivory and matte gold or the colors in the printed pillows to lighten the room.  It looks like a big bug getting ready to land.

Too much brown. I would like it better with a lighter rug & light colored walls. I would change the artwork over the bed. I would add a pop of green and/or burgundy in the pillows or artwork.

Normally, I'm not a big fan of brown, but think this is a great looking room... Boy, somebody sure does like symmetry...

I would add either Tiffany Blue or pink to this room for some color and contrast.

Not a bad look, just too dark. Lighten up the walls.
