  1. Locking thing is a safety thing and its annoying. I thought thethe removable agitator was made by whirlpool washer.

Married for 58 years and have always had a washer with an agitator: Maytag at home, GE in Florida.

 

Never ever had clothes torn and DH has a whole closet filled with regular and golf shirts.

 

As for wrinkles, once in the dryer for a few minutes they come out.  If I am in a hurry and need to go out, I hang the shirts on hangers and smooth out the seams on the side.  I refuse to iron.  As for his bermudas and long pants, I have pant stretchers that work wonders.
