I agree with those who find this to be a beautiful and welcoming space. Without seeing the entire room, I do wonder if the scale of the armoire and the bed might be a bit overwhelming, but I'd still be happy to have this room in my home!

You should have a warm welcoming vibe in the house. Sure. But, I don't think we want to inspire guests to never leave. Would be kinda awkward... no?
