In my opinion, this is someone trying too hard. Trying to stand out, trying to make some statement (even they don't know what that statement is). Someone trying to be a trend setter, be relevant. 

Or maybe they just like color and think it's all fun.

Or maybe they have a thrift store budget and this is what came together! LOL

I always try to find something positive in these pictures.  Mostly I like at least something, but I have to say this one I just can't relate to one thing in this room!   Wow, and yes I do remember that hideous lamp @Wendy Lou Hoo . awful, awful, awful!!!   LOL

Interesting that you’ve seen other photos with mannequin parts. I didn’t realize that was “trending”. Definitely not for me.
