This is a very pretty foyer.  It reminds me of the one we had before downsizing.  We also had the white and lighter wood (maple) floors and stairway.  I adore that small window on the landing, we had a larger one that was up way too high, had to use a ladder inside to wash it!   Brought me back to my big house that I sometimes miss.......still adjusting to townhouse living but I didn't miss shoveling the foot of snow we just had Smiley Happy

@LindaSal  I really like that little stairway window too... Isn't it funny how sometime it's the little things that really can make a difference in how we perceive the overall space...?

This entrance is very pretty, with & without the garland.

The door, window above the stairway, & the design of the stairway are so nice.  I like that when you enter, the stairway isn't in your face.  And, the landing allows for the practical bottom portion of the stairway to turn away from the door.

Nice space and not over done.  I love the little tree.
