Just got our Sherril chair in "unprotected" leather.  Love the rustic look!  Does anyone have any advice or experience in how to take care of this type of leather?  I heard that it will discolor wherever any skin oils touch it, such as the top & arms.  Any help for caring for our new "baby" would be appreciated.  THANKS!

Re: Leather chair care advice

My family room is decorated with leather furniture.

Tulips, I use aa product called LEXOL it is a Leather Care Kit.  It can be used on ANY Leather items...

Furniture, Auto Upholstery, jackets, Boots, Saddlery, Luggage.

I think I picked up the last package up at Wally World.

Hope this helps...

Were there no care instructions included with the chair?  That would be most unusual.  I'd contact either your salesman or the manufacturer.  This type of finish might absorb product and change color.

What chair is this? Where did you get it? I'm interested in the unprotected leather look?
