The light is definitely not a look I would go for!  In fact there isn't anything appealing up or down in these rooms, it's a big miss for me.

Oh my, I really dislike that light and don't care for the rest of the room either.  Too modern and cold for me.

Great use of those redundant wooden panels. The ceiling looks amazing with this stylishly designed piece.
