If you use one, what laundry booster product do you use?

I've been using Tide Boost, fragrance and dye free.

It disappeared from our store shelves and I've been buying it from Amazon, but the price is getting too high and I read last week that Tide Boost was discontinued almost a year and a half ago so the stuff I'm using is old.

I'm looking for a laundry booster product.  I prefer pods or little packs if possible.  But the big thing is that it has to be fragrance free.  I can't handle any fragrance, especially lingering fragrance from my laundry.

I searched Amazon and the only thing I could find was a product called Dropps.  I'd never heard of it before.

Any suggestions for me?

Re: Laundry booster products

Is there a reason that you need a laundry booster?  I use Tide and everything comes clean.  I do use Oxyclean when I need to spot remove a potential stain.

@Imaoldhippie- I honestly don't know, LOL.  My sister was using the Tide Boost and told me it was good so I started using it and really never thought about it after that until I saw it was discontinued over a year ago.

Maybe I don't need one!

Re: Laundry booster products

I use ol fashioned 20 Mule Team Borax when I feel I need a boost but mostly to help stubborn smells (boy stuff). But it's a box and you pour the granulated stuff right into the area where you've poured the laundry detergent so it's not a pod or anything.

I will also use Arm & Hammer on occasion in the same way as well as Oxi-Clean.  I also have a spray for sports stains that is really good....

Re: Laundry booster products

I do not use a booster product in every load, however, I do use borax in towels and any load of my husbands clothes.  He is a longtime smoker, and sweats nicotine thru the pores of his skin.   The borax totally eliminates the odor on his towels and clothing.

@gidgetgh Unless you are doing laundry for a football team, I doubt you need a booster.  Just go for the plain Tide.

I don't use a booster either. I use Nellie's laundry detergent. Our clothes don't get greasy dirty so it works fine for me. I do have some Tide & Oxy Clean if I have something really dirty. I like the way our clothes feel since I stopped using Tide on a daily basis. Does not matter what you do it does not come out in the rinse cycle. Nellie's leaves our clothes smelling clean, soap free & soft. I also use Nellie's Lambswool dryer balls.

Re: Laundry booster products

I tried some but HOLY MOLY did my skin itch as well as 2 of my childrens.

I went right back to Costco's own Kirkland; cleans like nothing else.

I use Tide free and clear - allergic to perfumes and ALL oxiwash product. Overall I'm very satisfied with this combination.
