Lattice on vinyl fence

Our vinyl fence has lattice at the top - and it is very dirty. Using the power washer does not clean any dirt off. Today I tried Krud Cutter, sprayed and let it sit for a few minutes....still did not work. Any recommendations?

I see there are products from the big box stores but I don't know if they are any good or not. I do not want to have to scrub the lattice on each fence section....that would take forever. I don't mind using some elbow grease but I'd like the 'cleaner' to do its job. thanks.

I've used resin patio furniture cleaner with average results. A power washer works, but when dealing with lattice, it is time consuming.

Hi @Mom2Dogs, we also have a vinyl fence, but without the lattice on top.

I've never used a power washer. We always hand wash our fence (probably about 50 - 6 foot sections) and while I'm washing one, I wet the next panel to be washed with the hose and then spray Simple Green on it. By the time I finish the panel I'm working on (washing and drying it) the panel I pre-treated is pretty easy to clean. Don't know if Simple Green can help you, but it's worth the try, if you have not already done so. Good luck.

Vinyl here with cap tops not lattice. Thanks to lawn guy few years ago - (not) - mud was blown all over fence. I used a regular hose - bucket of Simple Green suds and an old long handle tub scrubber. Scrubber is like an old fashioned cotton mop type- nothing to scratch.

Watered down fence - applied suds/water - stood on ground and applied tub mop/suds - - rinse.

Believe you need mop - cloth directly on the fence to disturb the stubborn filth.
