I like it.  You could also use a pretty patterned rug.  I had a huge poster, almost 5' wide, that I mounted on a piece of styrofoam-like material and framed myself with lathing, and hung above my bed.  I finally tired if it and got something more manageable.

Love this idea, especially when there really isn't other room on walls for art. What do you think  @lolakimono ?

No, no, no. Do not like all that yellow. To bright, hurts my eyes.

Bright and cheery. I would fold the blanket down one more time.

I think it's a cheery look for a guest room.  For my guest rooms, I like them to be a bit gender neutral so it's not something that I would do in that space, but maybe in an office.

Re: Large Scale Artwork as Headboard

Like the concept.

I would of gone with an all cream or white bedding with a cream or white textured coverlet. I would not use any yellows at all on the bed period, enough in the picture.

I would of picked up more of the deeper shades in the picture for both pillows and a

a textured solid coverlet. And, coordinated the pillows accordingly.

Also, the leaf and whatever that yellow thing is (a light perhaps) on the small table,

both need to go.

That floor needs a color other than yellow to accent it nicely.

It really is a lot of yellow.
