If given a choice, all my lanterns would come WITHOUT candles inside. I have dozens of flameless candles that I love and would like to be able to change them out for seasons and occasions. Sometimes, I would like to add a trio of the CI slim candles and a few leaves or maybe shells and a string of lights. Last year, I put a CI angel inside the only one I have (from Linda Dano) that didn't include a permenent candle.

Valerie does interesting things with the red lantern she has on her set. This week, she put three red bird/poinsettia candle holders inside. If we get a bad candle, the lantern is no good. I want my options and a permanently affixed candle eliminates those options. Grrrrrrr--been waiting a long time to write this.
