Great price for two lamps w/shades. How tall?

LOVE Costco! My last buys were Ninja 1000W blender and 5 Charisma resort towels. Two towels for me, all the rest will be gifted.

I saw this set at my local Costco earlier this week.  They are beautiful and you sure can't beat that price.

I had a pair of lamps in my L/R for 15 years that my S/O and I came to dislike . A few weeks ago, I saw this pair at Costco. My concern was that they didn't have a 3-way switch. My S/O said to get them, that they would be bright enough for reading. They were not.

Now, I don't suggest anyone do this, I'm just telling you what he did. He replaced the part where the bulb screws in with a 3-way. He put in a 3-way bulb, and the lamps work fine. We now have two 3-way lamps! It was a PIA to do he said, but he got it done.

I don't have the lovely grey color scheme, but they look ok with our black leather furniture.
