Lampe Berger wicks

Any idea what might cause a wick in a Lampe Berger fragrance lamp to NOT burn?

It's a fairly new wick and I followed all the steps for lighting. Letting it sit for over 20 minutes, letting it burn, the first time, etc. It heats up and then within a few minutes it's cold. It just won't stay lit!

I'm just replacing the wick in that lamp, but I'm wondering if anyone has ever had this problem.

I have found that is I fill my lamp too full, it won't burn. The directions say to fill 3/4 full not up to the top. This solved my problem. Good luck~~~
