Re: Lacquered Walls & Ceilings

Don't care for the lacquer at all, but if I had to choose, it would be the hallway, sans the yellow rug and the bathroom.

I love it in the Blue and the Cream colors, but I probably wouldn't do all of my walls, maybe just one accent wall would be good!

Re: Lacquered Walls & Ceilings

Can't say I'm a fan of the Lacquer.  I watch a ton of the house flipping/decorating shows and they've used high gloss kitchen cabinets a few times and I wasn't a fan of that look either.

Re: Lacquered Walls & Ceilings

I have seen lacquered walls in entertaining venues, club houses.  Can be pretty, wouldn't want it in my home.

The white is all I can tolerate; the rest is pretty ugly.

Love the cream walls, the black powder room is ok.

A lot of space covered in color closes you in.  I'll say "no thank you".

The red room reminds me of a phone booth. I agree with other posters maybe a wall not the whole room.

Re: Lacquered Walls & Ceilings

I kind of like it--the green is a little dark for me but I really like the shine and the color saturation is amazing. The surfaces would have to be as smooth as ice and very clean and the painter has to be very knowledgeable to do that----the red speaks to me and i'm not a red girl--the black is great too.
