I hope those of us who were not fans will be able to post again. Sorry, but she was way too shallow, and had a very limited vocabulary for my tastes! Here's to the future! I pray she doesn't show up in her new job around here!

What exactly were you expecting when you started the thread with that snide heading? Any time you start off with something not favorable to Lisa always ends up just like this. Come on, you knew that.

Lisa looked stunning in that black dress...I didn't realize how tiny she has become.I hope she will be very happy and healthy enjoying her new life.I will really miss her humor and style.

Never was a fan of Lisa's, but wanted to see her send off after 20 years of being a host on QVC. Her black dress looked beautiful, but that cape with the train, more than a bit much. The noise from the party in the background was very distracting. All in all, after announcing her departure about 2 months ago, it sure was a lackluster send off. Was expecting more, but maybe that's the way she wanted it. Won't miss her, and no, I am not jealous. No one is irreplaceable....as Kathy Levine found out. Will be surprised if we hear anything more of Lisa Robertson.

OK, those of you who idolize Lisa and will call me a "hater" get right on it. I think she sees herself as Madison Avenue, has taken advantage of her contacts at Q, and will emerge in some New York based business that leaves her still on tv and able to wear more ball gowns and be a socialite. My guess? It's still something with the Ripka enterprise--or something similar.

In recent years she has not sold many things "ordinary" or items most of us would use or been in any every-day-life type role at the network. She's been in ball gowns and selling what at QVC passes for "high end/Madison Avenue." I think in the future this is where you will see her. I think she is spreading her wings to be who she aspires to be. And that ain't QVC. . .
