As for PeterDM's post, I thought it was meant to be humorous. And it was! Just an observation that many people apparently agreed with. I didn't see any trashing or nastiness - just a funny comment about what she was wearing, followed by, "Did I take my medication backwards this morning?" And yes, a party for her in the next room did seem a bit bizarre. I thought what PeterDM wrote was cute.

And I thought her gown was gorgeous. The cape a bit much. And maybe she did too, since she wore it only briefly.

Some people here really have thin skins re anything related to Lisa. I'm quite sure that she would laugh off some of the things that are written here in good humor - the same things that anger so many posters who are quick to label others "haters", "jealous", etc.

Peter, Thanks for mentioning the above link. I only tuned in to the last 10 minutes of LR's final show, so I was curious about but never got to see the whole outfit. I had already checked the online product videos from the show, but they were no help.

It's going to be odd for awhile not having LR around on the Q. There are some hosts like Dave King I wish were still on the Q...oh well, change is inevitable.

But is it just me or is this a very boring farewell party for her?? I'm so surprised there hasn't been guests talking to her about her time at QVC or more old video clips or even surprise guests!! She looks better than she's ever looked. I feel badly that there's a party going on outside, and she's inside working. It does seem a little odd. I wish they had done more of a "This Is Your Life" style show where they had lots of doorbells ringing with surprise guests coming in to wish her well. The mood needs a little lift. Where is Alberti!!?

The other show hosts that have left didn't get drums & bugles & a marching parade.
