I like the room.  There's just enough color for me, especially w/the wall color in the next room.

Love the colors and the simplicity of the room.  I'd prefer my sofa in a less formal style, but I'd love to have that beige and white striped fabric.

I would have to have some hits of color in such a monochromatic scheme.  They could have injected pillows with color, instead of the ones they have that just echo what's already there.  I'd love to see aqua pillows, for example.

A quiet color scheme of khaki or beige can actually be luscious, but you do need to amp up the texture in the room, maybe.

Although this is not a style I would choose for me, I do find this to be a clean, calm looking room pleasing to look at (with the exception of the rattan).  I do like the opposite of light and the dark in the next room.  So, change the rattan shelving to wood, the rattan chair to a soft chair with fabic in the color of the darker stripe in the sofa, remove the rattan tray from under the centerpiece and also remove whatever that is on top of the shelving unit, and a creme shade on the window instead of the rattan and I would find the room more pleasing. Since I like pink and taupe together, I would want the accessories to add a pop of color to the room rather than the blues.

Although this room is a bland biege, all the vertical and horizontal lines gives it a rigid feel.  The rattan seems out of place.  Maybe there's more of it on the opposite side of the room.

I love the couch and the window treatments, but it does need a little pop of color. Maybe a bigger light fixture too.....I do like it a lot though.....
