Hi mousiegirl, have you received your's yet? I wonder how you like it. I thought the multi looked pretty but I use either gold (my favorite) or silver mostly now. Please post if and when you get yours.

Hi lucymo, no, I havn't received them yet, way out West here.
I am planning to use them on my dining room table because the dining room and living room are mostly red, some gree, decor. I thought with Valerie's red mercury glass orbs, and other red mercury glass pillars, etc., these would look nice surrounding the centerpiece which runs most of the length of the table. Every year it is a bit different. I have two of Valerie's long table mirrors with the end mirrors which these will surround, or something like this.
I definitely will post about everything I receive.
I wanted the silver, all silver, for the red and white room to nestle through the snow, but the gold in between the lights is a no no for this theme.

I kind of blew off the presentation of these at the end of Jill's show, and didn't watch but the first couple of seconds. When you all (with the amazing tastes) brought them up, I thought "uh oh. I'd better take a second look"!
They are absolutely gorgeous! I love the attention to detail,in the beads and bugle beads. I, too, think they look two tone, and think they did that intentionally, so the same beads could be used in all strands, and not have to produce and assemble them with each individual colors.
My hold back is the battery box. It's relatively huge, and is going to be a pain to hide in many dispays. Good. I now have a reason NOT to buy! Yeah me!
They will sell out and I'll be whining about missing them. I just know me.

Well, that sounds pretty in your dining room. Like you, I don't do a whole house color theme, I do different things in each room. I'm in SE MO and it takes me so long to get anything from the Q. I do sometimes use a red or green item that I've had and loved for a long time because I used to always do the multi colors Christmas and just changed it up a bit in recent years. I'll be anxious to see your dining room pictures in December. I love your garden pictures, I've looked at them several times. Did you get one or two strands for your table? I think I'll get the silver because I like the white and brightness of the silver light bulbs and with the gold spacers it will work with my gold too. Mousiegirl, I hope we both love our purchase because it seems we're kinda whistling in the dark. lol

Good for you! Stay strong, proud of you. lol I'll let you know how the silver works out for me. Yes, the timer will have to be very accurate because once hidden I don't want to have to dig it out often.

My plan is to hide the battery packs under garlands. I did that last year with the ED flocked garland. I agree, though, that these packs are large, but I think with adjusting the garlands, it can work.
