Re: Kitchen & Living Room Remodel

Although it is a big improvement over the before, I am not a fan of open concept rooms.  I don't want to look a food prep, mess, dishes when I am entertaining nor do I want everyone in with me when I cook.  I like my living room or family out of my kitchen.

Love, love, love the fireplace redo.......  I do't like the glass-topped coffee and end table either....

I am over the white kitchen trend but it and the entire room is a million times better than the before.

The after is much better!  Looks warm & inviting!

I'm trying to figure out what that wall is in the before?.... is that a sliding door separating the kitchen & living room?  Looks odd.

@wilma  The after is fabulous.

I love it, especially the fireplace. The whole area is so inviting. Clean and not overdone.

They get an A+ from me. I think it is beautiful and I love it being so open.

The remodel is beautiful esp. the stacked stone fireplace.  I wouldn't use glass top tables though in the living area.

Wow - what a great remodel. Removing the wall and re-doing that fireplace is amazing. The backsplash is a minor thing, IMO, compared to the major changes that were made to these two rooms.

Re: Kitchen & Living Room Remodel

Well, we don't see much of the 'before', so pretty clearly the 'after' offers a more finished and more appealing vist. Nice looking room, though the living area furniture looks to be a bit predictable.
