Re: Kitchen Puttering and Changing/Cleaning

Hi @homedecor1

I don't know if this helps much, but I got curious and did a quick search for Fitz and Floyd rooster figurine and many of the images that came up of that handsome guy are listed at over $200 now at various retailers.  I'm not out to spend your money for you in any way, shape or form but maybe $100 is practically half price these days.

Nice! Threes are good! Simple and effective!

Nothing says kitchen to me more than a rooster! (No matter what your  decorating style is, there is a rooster somewhere out there for it!)

Just beautiful @Regal Bee! My own kitchen has no particular theme, but when we re-did it several years ago and added an island, I found a rooster here at the Q that blended my colors perfectly. His "primary" home is the island, but he moves around the kitchen when I decorate for Fall, Christmas and Easter. He never gets put away!

I don't mind spending the $$$ if it's something I must have!  Since I purged and didn't put a lot back I haven't thought about buying anything BUT that darn rooster😮😮😳😳🙄🙄

My cousin lives about 1.5 hrs away she just called me ....oh great her HL has a lot of roosters....guess I'll be heading her way.

That's quite a score, @homedecor1 and especially for such gorgeous pieces!  Very nice indeed!

@Regal Bee I have some cutting boards that are too pretty to use! I like your idea of using one to backstop a pretty piece. Thanks for posting. Be careful on the going up and down. I made a misstep and landed on my back. Not fun!

@SunValley  I always use my nice cutting boards as backdrops. I like to place them on my counter backs also.

I will admit to being sore today with all the ladder-climbing but so happy with my kitchen.

Thank you!
