Locally there is a family owned company that belongs to a larger group that buys appliances, and then they can sell at a fair price.  We used to purchase most things from them but learned that there is no warranty thru them, you must deal with the appliance manufacturer.   A friend ended up with a lemon from this company and they would not stand behind the product....she had a huge mess to deal with.

 

From the time I learned about that experience, we have dealt with the big box stores....generally Lowes.
